Restoration of the house began in earnest in 1995 under the aegis of the Laona Project and the Akamas Plan.  Many of the restored houses in Cyprus that are now part of the island’s agro-tourism industry were restored with the help of these programs.

Olga's Cottage has a private garden and from its patio there is a fantastic view of the Chryssochou Valley and the Troodos Mountains. The house is L-shaped and set behind a high stone wall that provides optimum privacy.  The patios are shaded by an ancient olive tree and there is a proper lawn and flower garden.  Exterior features include an old village oven and grape press.
